Dress Code

Women and girls are required to appear in church modestly dressed.

  1. Dresses or skirts at least knee-length when one is seated are appropriate.
  2. Head coverings are to be worn in accordance with the traditions of the Catholic Church.
  3. Form-fitting clothing; dresses and tops that are low-cut, see-through, cap-sleeved, spaghetti-strapped, or sleeveless; and  dresses or skirts with hems above the knees do not meet the norms of Christian modesty and must not be worn in church.
  4. Slacks are not appropriate and must not be worn in church.

Men and boys must equally be aware of proper attire.

  1. A suit and tie, or dress shirt, dress pants, sports jacket, and tie are appropriate.
  2. Jeans, shorts, and T-shirts are not to be worn in church.

Willing and humble cooperation with the above norms of Christian modesty is evidence of your respect for the House of God and for Our Lord present in the Blessed Sacrament.
